To Whom It May Concern:

Approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the 104th session of China Import and Export Fair has adjusted its exhibition period by splitting 2 phases into 3 phases and will be held from 15 October to 6 November, 2008. Each phase will last 5 days instead of 6 days with 2 intervals for 4 days each. Please be noted that all the 3 phases will be held in the Pazhou Complex, while Liuhua Complex will no longer be used.

In order to offer an convenient access for overseas buyers to the new complex, a new permit management system concerning IC Card as the Fair's badge will be completely applied in the coming session of the Canton Fair. The previous issued E-PASS cards will be invalid. Therefore, the Canton Fair will provide the new IC Card application service for overseas buyers. More details are as follow:

On-line application: please log on www.cantonfair.org.cn after 18 August and then input the E-PASS code number on the BEST platform to renew or apply a new IC Card. Pre-application receipt will be issued by an e-mail after approval, upon which you can get the IC Card when registering at the Overseas Buyers' Registration Office.

New IC Card service in HK & in the Fair's Overseas Buyers' Registration Office:
Please bring along the required documents as below to the appointed place to apply for new IC Card on time:
1. Personal original documents (H.K./ Macao Home-return Permit or I.D. Card, Taiwan Compatriot Travel Certificate, Overseas Passport, valid overseas residence certificate or a Chinese passport with the valid overseas employment visa valid for over one year)
2. E-PASS Cards, business card, a most recent colored passport photo.
